The NSAC Winter Program offers a course for everyone: from absolute beginners to experienced ski tourers, splitboarders, and freeriders. Below you’ll find an overview of all courses offered in 2027.
All courses run for 6 days (Sunday – Friday). The Saturday is arrival and departure day.

About the costs:
- Included: accommodation, meals, certified guide/instructor
- Not included: transport and equipment rental and ski pass.
- Not a student anymore? In that case you pay an extra 10,- per night.
- Not a member of a SAC? In that case you pay an extra 20,- per night.

Alpine Snow Sport
- ASS1 (Beginner)

Never been on a piste before? In this course you’ll learn the basic technique so you can ski down blue pistes safely.

Do you have a couple of weeks experience, but want to develop your technique further? In ASS2 you practice precise turns, and how to get down red pistes with the correct technique.

Are you skiing all over the resort, on all pistes, and is your interest in off-piste growing? In ASS3 you will learn the basic off-piste techniques and avalanche safety.

Freeride

Do you have some off-piste experience? In this course you can learn more off-piste technique, you’ll further develop your avalanche knowledge and learn how to perform avalanche rescues.

Do you have extensive off-piste experience, but are you now dreaming of steeper lines, further away from the resort? In this course you’ll learn how to ski in complex terrain safely.

Ski-touring
- T1 (beginners)
Weeks: 06.02.2027 – 13.02.2027 (week 2) & 13.02.2027 – 20.02.2027 (week 3)
Price: €450
In this course you’ll learn the basics of ski-touring: walking up outside of the resort and skiing down untracked snow. Previous off-piste experience needed!

Do you have some ski-touring experience, and do you want to explore longer, and more technical routes? Learn advanced avalanche rescues, develop your knowledge and your independence.

Price: €330 (excl. staying at huts and food)
In this course you’ll go on a multiple day (glacier) hut to hut tour on skis, and take the first steps towards ski-mountaineering.

Ice climbing
- Ice climbing course
Dates: 16.01.2027 – 23.01.2027
Price: €650
In this course you’ll develop yourself further as an alpinist, and you’ll learn the necessary techniques to ice climb independently.

Price: €30 per night, €210 for a week.
Did you follow the ice climbing course, and now want to gain some experience? In the ice climbing touring week you can explore the world of ice climbing even more with fellow SACers.
Attention: this is entirely self-guided! There is no instructor present.

2027 Specials!
- Turkey Ski-touring Week
Dates: 02.03.2027 – 10.03.2027
Price: The provisional estimate is approximately €750 per participant. This includes accommodation, meals, local transport and instructors’ fees.
Have you been dreaming of going somewhere totally different for ski-touring? This year you can join the NSAC and ski in Turkey.
Attention: this is not a course.

Dates: subject to participants’ availability
Price: approx. €300 for accommodation and food
A week during which experienced ski tourers haul loads of food up to a high-altitude bivouac or unstaffed hut, from where they set off on epic tours and, in the evenings, cook up a feast by the stove and share amazing stories.
