Would you like to ski in powder up to your knees or let the ice water run down your arms into your jacket?
Then we have the solution for you!
The WP committee has a fantastic offer for you again this year. If you have never skied or snowboarded before you can start with alpine snow sport 1 (ASS1), where you will learn all the basic techniques. If you can get down all the slopes without falling, then you can move on to alpine snow sports 2 (ASS2) where you will go deeper into techniques on the slopes. Then you can move on to alpine snow sports 3 (ASS3) where the groundwork for off piste skiing begins, and then you are all set for touring skiing or freeriding! We offer a complete program for people who can’t ski at all yet all the way up to experienced tour skiers (or split boarders) and freeriders who want to go out on their own and maybe even move on to instructor training.
All courses can only take place when there is sufficient interest. Are you excited and want to sign up for a course? Ask around and see who else is interested and sign up together! If a course has more applications than places, SAC members will have priority.
All courses are 6 days, from Sunday to Friday. The Saturdays are for arrival and departure, so overnight stay on the Saturday before the course and from Friday to Saturday after the course is included in the course price. The price does not include: transportation, equipment rental, WePowder modules and possible lift pass.
