Well, then you’ve probably heard a little about what the second-most undercover committee of the NSAC does (only the SAC server committee is even more invisible and indispensable).
We, the SponsorCie, organize the inter-sex sponsorship deals. There are a few deals that always apply to everyone, but that not everyone knows about! So, let’s list those deals for you:
Rab: Rab is the main sponsor of the NSAC and therefore of all NSKs and intersociety activities like the BOTS. Thanks to Rab, you get great events and trendy prizes!
Klimwinkel: 10% ongoing discount for all NSAC members.
Buitensportvoeding: 10% ongoing discount for all NSAC members.
Climbing Equipment: Twice a year, each SAC can purchase equipment for club purposes at a discount of approximately 40%. Regular house brands included in this deal are Beal, Black Diamond, Pieps, and BCA for avalanche safety products.
Just because we have these great deals and discount codes, and the NSKs and BOTS are handing out awesome prizes, doesn’t mean we have to call every sponsor ourselves. In practice, we keep track of which SAC member is approaching which company, brief new NSK committees on sponsorship opportunities, and actively maintain contact with long-term sponsors like Rab. In short, we try to keep all contacts running smoothly with as few meetings as possible.
