Dutch Student Bouldering Championship (NSKB)
Student bouldering athletes also get the chance to test their skills against each other every year. Over 100 students participate in the NSKB. There are both women’s and men’s competitions. The NSK bouldering is organized by a different SAC each year. This year (2023), the USAC had the honor! The NSKB is open to everyone, regardless of climbing level. In addition to the competition itself, there are various side events and it culminates with a spectacular finale and a party. Although the majority of participants come from a SAC, the NSKB is open to all student athletes.
In 2023, the NSKB took place on November 25th at Boulderhal Zuidhaven in Utrecht. For more information, see https://nskb.alpenclub.nl/.
Dutch Student Lead Climbing Championship (NSK Lead)
The title of Dutch Student Sport Climbing Champion is fiercely contested every year. There are both women’s and men’s competitions. The organization is alternated between SACs, giving this fantastic event a unique character each time. Last year (2019), the GSAC held the honor, and a Speed Climbing category was added for a one-off. In 2020, the NSK Lead will be organized by the USAC. During the event, climbers and supporters can participate in all sorts of fun side events. Although the majority of participants come from SACs, the NSK is open to all student athletes.
