Subsidy interSACial activities

The NSAC offers SACs the opportunity to apply for funding for inter-SAC activities they organize. An amount is budgeted for this purpose each year. The NSAC cannot disburse more funding than budgeted for the financial year. Therefore, SACs are advised to apply for this funding in a timely manner.

There are several requirements that the activity must meet to be eligible for the funding, unless the UDB decides otherwise:

  • The activity must be open to all SACs;
  • The activity must be actively promoted to the InterSACial public and should begin well in advance.
  • The organization of the activity must, where applicable, encourage the provision of accommodation for InterSACial participants.
  • The grant application must be submitted to the Quaestor no later than four weeks before the start of the activity.

The grant application consists of the following parts:

  • Budget for the activity and the amount for which the grant is being requested.
  • Motivation and justification for the activity.

The General Board decides, based on the above points, whether or not to award the subsidy and the amount thereof and notifies the SAC of this decision within two weeks of receipt. The subsidy will only be transferred after the realization of the activity has been transferred and the invoice for the activity has been approved. The NSAC will only guarantee the amount pledged in advance. This means that the SAC will not receive more than the amount pledged in advance for the activity and that the SAC will not make a profit from the activity.
