Student bouldering athletes also get the chance to test their skills against each other every year. Around 250 students participate in the NSKB. There are both women’s and men’s competitions. The NSK bouldering is organized by a different SAC each year. This year (2024), the LSAC, founded in 1924, has the honor! (100 years of ‘Vo!’) The NSKB is open to everyone, regardless of climbing level. Besides the competition itself, there are all sorts of side events, culminating in a spectacular finale and a party. Although the majority of participants come from a SAC, the NSKB is open to all student athletes.
In 2024, the NSKB will take place on November 16th at the Boulderhal Krachtstof in Leiden. For more information, see https://nskb.alpenclub.nl/.
